A new chapter begins for Imagine H2O. Announcing the Water Innovation Pilot Fund – a Special Purpose Vehicle that deploys catalytic funding and technical assistance to de-risk water and climate solutions faster. Building on our 5-year pilot funding track record and backed by our accelerator programs, we will be making innovation more accessible to more people with new resources and global reach. What makes the Fund unique? ?? Fund Sustainability – Recoverable grants and loans will be deployed to recycle funds and finance more pilots ?? Catalytic Capital – Pilots can serve different purposes, from tech validation to market expansion ?? Project Support – End-to-end pilot design and implementation advisory will help increase project success ?? ?? SmartTerra is Using AI to Reduce Non-Revenue Water In 2022, Indonesia’s non-revenue water (NRW) reached approximately 34% – exceeding the national target of 20%. As a result, public utilities are losing revenue needed to cover the costs of clean water production and distribution. With the support of IH2O’s Water Innovation Pilot Fund, SmartTerra is now helping two PDAMs in Indonesia continuously localize leaky pipes and faulty meters to lower water losses and increase their financial resilience. IH2O is exploring an expanded phase for up to 2 new PDAMs in Indonesia with SmartTerra’s solution in 2025.
