We recently completed a helicopter lift of 18 HVAC units onto the roof of a local food processing plant. Sheet Metal Foreman Jake Lentz and Steam Fitter Foreman Matt Fiedler worked with their teams to quickly and safely set the units in place. Utilizing a helicopter instead of a crane allowed us to minimize the impact on the job site and the customer. By shortening the amount of time with suspended loads over the building, everyone could reoccupy swing areas earlier and return to work in under 45 minutes, promoting safety. Our team in Madison recently completed an industrial project to run 46-inch,12-gauge ducting to a new RTO Scrubber. We utilized a 550-ton crane to lift the largest piece, which weighed 109,000 pounds. This well-coordinated project included a composite crew with a certified welder. We held a Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) Safety Trained Supervisors in Construction (STSC) course yesterday. We just finished a chiller installation at a high-rise in Milwaukee, WI.
