We're excited to share a conversation between Spencer Riley Alfonso and Mack Williams. The two discuss the creative DNA of Mack's career including the throughlines of music, comedy, and animation. Mack Williams is a producer & animation director based in New York City. Williams specializes in VFX and Motion Graphics and his credits include shows like the animated FX series Archer, Saturday Night Live, the cult-classic Sealab 2021, Baz Lurman’s The Get Down, and The Problem with John Stewart. Mack is also a partner, executive producer and animation director at Pig Apple, an NYC-based production company alongside Ed Mundy and Trevor Williams. Pig Apple specializes in live action production, visual effects, and animation. We invited Zach Esposito (Del Water Gap, Minitrees, The Shelters) to hang out at the studio and bring over his favorite or most unique pieces of gear. Zach ended up bringing over three different vintage instruments. The first of the three being a 1970 Sunburst Fender Precision Bass. The P Bass is a widely used instrument with a classic round sound. This particular P Bass was purchased from a music shop in Highland Park - Los Angeles.
