A "warm" welcome was had at Marshalltown Community School District for Senator Kara Warme! Students were eager to show her a display of what "employability" means to them with illustrations of writing an effective resume, preparing for an interview, and dressing for success. Afterward, the Senator shared more about her career path while giving advice for the future. Experiences with local leaders last a lifetime. It’s all “love” from the community celebrating our students in Ottumwa Community School District! Last week, four of our students 1st place in the LOVE Project at our State Career Development Conference for their continued fundraising and volunteerism for @Stead Family Children’s Hospital at the University of Iowa. Clarke Community High School iJAG earns Nonprofit of the Year by Clarke County Development Corporation (CCDC) and Altec Osceola Body Plant! The recognition comes after our students attended a local conference this fall where they were able to network with members of CCDC and promote the work they are doing with employer and community partners. iJAG officers Jocelyn (black shirt) and Gisell (white shirt) are shown accepting the award alongside iJAG Career Specialist Ms. Greene (wearing green), CCDC Executive Director Andrew Clark as well as representatives from Altec Osceola Body Plant.
