Dining facilities across Fort Cavazos embraced the Thanksgiving spirit in a lively competition, showcasing their creativity and dedication! Each facility designed unique menus, transformed their spaces with imaginative themes, and added exciting elements like carnival games, a 360-degree photo booth, and karaoke to bring joy to Soldiers and their families. The judging panel included distinguished leaders such as Lt. Gen. Kevin D. Admiral, Commanding General of the III Armored Corps and Fort Cavazos, and Garrison Commander Col. Lakicia Stokes. Last weekend, University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Crusaders Football honored our service members with their Military Appreciation game against the Howard Payne University. U.S. Army Col. Sean P. Kelly, Commander of the 13th Armored Corps Sustainment Command, delivered an inspiring pep talk to the team before they hit the field. Adding a special touch to the occasion, Staff Sgt. Erica Reid-Brown from the 1st Cavalry Division Band performed a stunning rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner. UMHB won the game 63-7, and moves on to NCAA Division III Championship- 1st Round against Trinity University-Tigers. The game will take place on November 23 in San Antonio. ?? 1st Lt.
