The Recast Capital team closed the door on our first official pilot program in partnership with IIE.VC! Modeled after our successful Enablement Program, the accelerator was designed specifically for emerging managers that have received SSBCI funding in states including NY, PA, and VA. Through our own experiences, we knew of the nuances and questions that come with receiving SSBCI dollars, so it was a pleasure to be able to provide tangible support to EMs that recently received funds. Over the course of 10-weeks, these #emergingmanagers had the chance to collaborate with the rest of the #GP community and learn about a range of educational content where we covered pressing topics including LP archetypes & fund/market fit, fundraising process & strategies, emerging manager differentiation and so much more! Today, Teleange' Thomas, our Chief Operations and Relationships Officer, met with the Office of the Vice President, The White House, US Treasury, and state agencies to review the initial impact of the Initiative for Inclusive Entrepreneurship (IIE). Under the expanded $10 billion State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI), this initiative boosts capital access and deployment to Black, Hispanic/Latino, and other SEDI entrepreneurs. JumpStart has supported the IIE initiative by leading the high-growth strategy, helping first- and second-time fund managers access networks, services, and vital investment capital.
