We can't say thank you enough. Because our amazing supporters, we raised over $559,000 to empower and fuel Ignite's programming and youth! Our Ignite & Shine Gala was beyond a success and we're so grateful to be apart of this community with you! According to Chapin Hall, 40% of youth experiencing homelessness identify as LGBTQ+. On this Transgender Remembrance Day, Ignite continues to stand in solidarity with all youth--a solid reminder that all youth have a place at Ignite. Our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion means advocating for a world where every young person can thrive, free from fear and discrimination. Together, we create safe spaces for all of our young people to belong.

We are so grateful for our community that came together to enjoy a meal and celebrate togetherness this past weekend at our annual Thanks4Giving event! Our community is the core of Ignite. Did you know? Ignite is one of the only organizations in Chicago that can accept minors that have crossed state lines. Our Bronzeville Youth Shelter provides young people aged 14 to 17, with a safe, supportive, and temporary place to stay while also providing basic needs and crisis intervention. This Wear Green Day, we reflect on the young people we've been able to help and vow to always remain an open door to everyone in need.
