    ??Is Your Organizational Culture AI-Ready? More than ever, the sense of belonging, skill development, role modeling and aligning mindsets and behaviors are critical factors to make a company unique and create a culture that fosters the adoption of #AI across the enterprise. As companies start educating and testing AI initiatives, they face several cultural challenges such as assisting employees to adopt new behaviors, developing AI #skills, embracing new ways of working, and addressing ethical and compliance concerns on the use of AI in the #workplace. ??A Human-Centered Approach to AI To create a #culture that supports the AI journey consider the following principles: ?Vision and Culture Readiness: As the leadership team start having sessions to co-create the AI vision and align on use cases, its recommended to conduct an organizational readiness assessment to inform the AI roadmap. This analysis will be used as a starting point to identify gaps in #talent, workplace, processes and culture. ?Communicate & Engage: Leaders needs to build trust and share with the employees how and where AI tools will be used, what guardrails will be implemented, and how AI will impact the work, roles and #workplace. A clear message needs to be shared across the organization. ?Role modeling: Leaders play a key role to increase psychological safety and inspire hearts and minds. Preparing leaders and #change agents requires tailor-made programs based on persona-roles with strong focus on hands-on experimentation. ?Talent & Skills: Assess impact on talent and align on future skills to #upskill the workforce. Discuss what type of talent will be needed to meet future business demands and what new roles will be required to design, develop, govern and deploy AI. ?Adoption: Establish a plan to address employee concerns on AI and impact on their roles and workplace, share success histories and reward accomplishments, invest in #upskilling and promote experimentation with clear guidance for AI use. For an #AIstrategy to succeed, a culture shift is required to inspire employees, create sense of purpose and connect hearts and minds to enable transformation. Finally, without a human-centric organizational culture, AI value and adoption will be limited. Organizations need a talent and change capabilities to see long terms results.     How Agentic AI is Reshaping HR Roles? ? ??A new human-machine collaboration is shaping the future of human capital and #HR. The last few months we have seen new developments on Gen AI and as a result, CHROS and HR leaders are experimenting with #AI, assessing impacts, aligning on use-cases, and educating the workforce. ? Agentic AI is the next big breakthrough that will change the way HR delivers value, enables personalized employee experience, and refines service delivery. #AgenticAI are systems that are able to work independently, work 24/7, analyze and process data, make decisions, create action plans and learn from its experiences to solve complex problems. ? We are talking about systems, different than digital chatbots, that are able to complete complex tasks, break it down in multi-step steps/workflows and produce outcomes autonomously. ? Just recently, OpenAI announced “Swarm” which is an experimental framework designed to revolutionize multi-agent orchestration, enabling multiple AI agents to work together and communicate with each other, and interconnect use-cases that previously were too complex to execute. ? To give you a day in the life, the employee will speak with a centralize agent that will work with #Microsoft copilot and #Oracle HR agents to execute multiple tasks and connect with HR Geckos chatbot for HR service delivery; creating a seamless employee experience. We are still in early stages but this is where the market is going and it will impact how the workforce interacts with technology and how HR provides services going forward. ? ??How is HR Technology Market is Responding? ? #HCM platforms and point-solutions vendors are shifting gears and focusing on embedding and/or developing agentic AI capabilities. HCM platforms are moving fast and launching to market use-case driven AI agents across the employee life cycle. I think the big opportunity for HCM platforms is to customized agents based on industry verticals and provide professional services (strategy + implementation). Also, acquired AI-driven point solutions and partner directly with AI players such as OpenAI and Anthropic to tailor new offerings. ? Almost every #HRtech vendor is offering agents who focus on a specific area in HR bringing overlapping capabilities, data privacy challenges and complexity around managing and integrating all these agents. ? ??New Roles in HR ? The bigger picture here is to start thinking about the #futureofHR and the roadmap to embed AI into process and workflows across the talent value chain. To unlock value, #CHROs need to invest in foundational enablers such as organizational design, operating model, #workforce, data and technology to drive end-to-end transformation. ?     How Many Employee Experience Copilots should an Enterprise have? This is a question that I get all the time and thought I would share a perspective based on client-interactions and market analysis. With AI evolving quickly, copilots are becoming the new user interface (UI) but also an entity to work alongside with. Recently, we have seen several copilots launch to amplify intelligence to make inform talent decisions. Copilots are not just a technology capability, it requires a support system including a new operating model, governance to regulate the interaction between workforce and copilots, built a robust data foundation, and plan for the impact on hashtag #workforce and hashtag #skills. Productivity is just the beginning and as copilots becomes smarter, we will find an ecosystem of human-like AI agents who process vast amounts of information and provide answers and advice to human workers. The real value is in the customization of hashtag #employeeexperience copilots. However, building your own copilot will require to start off with a business case to identify the ROI, align on the prioritized use case (s), do the internal work to prepare data, and enable enterprise adoption. 4 categories where hashtag #copilots can assist the workforce: ?Recommendations: learning pathways, analytics etc. ?Surface Information: to provide enterprise and/or market knowledge. ?Content Creation: prepare materials, presentations etc. ?Digital Workers: working side by side with HR. ??How is hashtag #HRTech ecosystem responding? The HR Tech ecosystems is incorporating Gen AI in specific use cases, with copilots with focus on people analytics, sourcing, and screening candidates, inferring skills, surfacing enterprise knowledge, suggesting roles, as well as providing learning recommendations, and creating learning content. We are still in early stages and hashtag #GenAI will continue evolving delivering more engaging human-centric experiences and more interconnected use cases. ??Final Thoughts The number of copilots will depend on several factors: AI strategy, use case, complexity, resources, and ROI. Below have four key considerations as you start your copilot journey: 1?? Experiment, test and learn. 2?? Implement AI ethically and responsibly. 3?? Talent-ready’ data requires a robust data foundation, data governance, and standards. 4?? Build AI trust to enable the organization.     HR Technology Market Insights 2023-2024 Global venture funding reached an estimated $236 billion in 2023, a 47% drop vs 2022. #HRTechnology funding is not the exception, with estimates closing 2023 with $4-5 billion in funding vs $12 billion in 2022. Borrowing become more expensive, and revenue growth and profits were a challenge in 2023. Many HR Tech vendors (especially early-stage #startups) struggle to grow, unable to raise money, and conducted layoffs to maintain a cost savvy- mindset to survived. However, with an estimated 40K vendors in the ecosystem, #HCM and #talentacquisition were the areas with most funding in 2023. #Microsoft launched 365 Copilot, and hashtag #Google introduced Duet AI for Google Workspace, competing toe to toe to bring productivity services to the enterprise market. AI Partnerships and Investments went mainstream. ? Microsoft invested $100 billion in #OpenAI, Google invested $300 million in Anthropic, and #Amazon also invested nearly $4 billion in #Anthropic. ? Google launched "Gemini" and expanded partnerships with big technology and #AI players. ?Management consulting firms made investments and developed key partnerships by combining #digital and #strategy expertise with #cloud platforms, hardware companies, and foundational #LLMs models startups. Enterprise ? Enterprise disruptors started experimenting with AI and defining strategy and roadmap. ? AI #talent is in high-demand becoming harder to attract and retain. ? Concerns around AI compliance, ethics and copyrights started addressed by government regulators and #responsibleAI practices. What’s coming in 2024? ??#Venturefunding slowdown will continue. Be laser focused on market, use cases, marketing and profitability. Cultivate relationships with current clients. ??Align HR Technology investments with AI enterprise initiatives. Leverage resources, talent and expertise. ?? Define the path forward to implement #GenAI efforts in #humancapital (i.e. Copilots) ??Assess talent and deploy skilling AI programs at all levels. ??Develop a clear plan for AI awareness and #adoption.
