Today, we remember and honor the far too many Trans and gender diverse people we have lost to violence. It’s important to recognize that this day is more than remembering and paying respect. It's a call to action for our allies to stand up and be accountable for the role they play in creating a safer, more just world for everyone. IGLTA was proud to attend the LGBT+ Tourism Expo reception in Gramado, celebrating the growth and impact of LGBTQ+ tourism in Brazil and globally. Hosted by Alex Bernardes, this year’s event highlighted 2024’s successes and set the stage for an even larger gathering on July 24, 2025, in S?o Paulo, with expanded networking and business sessions. And with that, the 2024 IGLTA Global Convention in Osaka has come to a close! ????? ???? This year’s convention gathered LGBTQ+ travel leaders from over 50 countries. We created unforgettable memories, broke barriers, and celebrated our shared commitment to a more inclusive world. From inspiring sessions to the beat of taiko drums and the warmth of matcha tea, each moment was filled with connection and the spirit of Osaka. Thank you to everyone who helped make history with us, making this the most attended convention outside of North America to date.
