We give students the opportunity to push synthetic biology’s boundaries by tackling the world's most pressing problems.
关于我们
The iGEM Competition is an annual, worldwide, synthetic biology event aimed at high school, undergraduate and graduate students, giving them the opportunity to push the boundaries of synthetic biology by tackling the world's most pressing problems. In preparation for the event, multidisciplinary teams work for many months building genetically engineered systems using standard biological parts called BioBricks. iGEM Teams work inside and outside the lab, creating sophisticated synthetic biology projects that aim to have a positive impact on their communities and the world.
