The IFRS Foundation is a not-for-profit public interest organisation with two standard-setting bodies—the IASB and ISSB.
关于我们
This is the official page for the IFRS Foundation. We will provide updates on IFRS Foundation issues including governance, due process, jurisdiction profiles and organisational bodies as well as major IFRS Standard announcements. The IFRS Foundation is an independent, public interest organisation responsible for the governance and oversight of the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) and the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB). In turn, the IASB and the ISSB are independent standard-setters responsible for the development and promulgation of IFRS Standards. These Standards result in corporate information that informs investment decisions and contributes towards efficient and resilient capital markets.

Last week, the Trustees of the #IFRS Foundation met in Montreal, Canada. The Trustees are responsible for the strategy and governance of the IFRS Foundation. An important part of their role is also to oversee our standard-setting boards, #IASB and #ISSB. You can read the papers and listen back to the discussion of the Trustees’ Due Process Oversight Committee: https://lnkd.in/emcbTSWD ? Thank you to the many stakeholders we had the opportunity to engage with while in Montreal. Trustee Chair Erkki Liikanen spoke alongside Maarika Paul, FCPA, FCA, CBV, ICD.D of Caisse de dép?t et placement du Québec (CDPQ) about the Foundation’s role and progress in the development of sustainability-related disclosure standards at an event on fostering a sustainable global financial system, organised by the Montreal Council on Foreign Relations (CORIM). The panel was chaired by EY's Anne-Marie Hubert, C.M., FCPA, FCA, LLD. ? Some of our Trustees met with leaders of the Financial Accounting Foundation (FAF) to share best practice in governance and oversight of our respective standard-setting boards. And members of the Trustees’ strategic insights group – IFRS Foundation Group of Fellows, chaired by former Trustee Lucrezia Reichlin – and the ISSB had discussions with Montreal universities. ? It was a pleasure to meet representatives of the Government of Quebec and members of the Canadian Coalition of Champions. ?? #1 - Chair of Trustees Erkki Liikanen and Vice-Chairs Teresa Ko and Maria Theofilaktidis during the meeting of the Trustees ?? #2 - IFRS Foundation Trustee Chair Erkki Liikanen with Maarika Paul from CDPQ and Anne-Marie Hubert from EY at the event organised by Montreal Council on Foreign Relations ?? #3 -Trustees of the Financial Accounting Foundation and the IFRS Foundation
