关于我们
What if kids could change the world by using their curiosity to positively impact the food supply chain? IF Kids (Indoor Farming for Kids), a 501(c)(3), offering tools, knowledge and support to teach the youth about Controlled Environment Agriculture using STEM. IF Kids’ mission is to provide 8-12yo's with education, mentorship and a foundation for growing food for themselves, as a business or for the community. We offer top notch training from experienced Indoor Farmers while providing them with the infrastructure to learn and progress. Our organization will make sure that they have all the tools and know how needed to become efficient, passionate and knowledgeable in everything relating to Indoor Agriculture. We aim to dispel the negative notion that S.T.E.M. education means working only on computers (software/ hardware) for large soulless corporations. By learning the complicated nature of plants and ecosystems as a valuable skill we can utilize the youths natural inquisitive nature to benefit society. We are creating pathways for children in the city to use those technical and analytical skills to feed the world.

Had an amazing, fulfilling and enlightening experience, a couple of weeks ago. Thanks to the Cradle Beach Inc. Crew (Ann-Marie Orlowski, Karli Metros, and Gabriele Clark) for giving me a tour of your beautiful campground and making it possible for IF Kids to teach their young campers about the inner workings of hydroponic systems and the possibilities of STEM careers in agriculture. Absolutely loved thier treehouse as well! Thanks to John Kappel from Innosek / Epic Promotionals for the 3D printing. Thanks to Sashti Balasundaram, MPH from Firsthand Learning, Inc for the journals.
