The children from our partner kindergarten Max & Moritz from Haldensleben gave us a wonderful picture last year - a moment that touched us deeply and reminded us how important it is to support children and charitable projects. ?? Such moments are more than just symbolism. They show us how crucial it is to take responsibility - for the children who are playing, laughing and dreaming today and who will help shape our world tomorrow. ?? Today we would like to introduce you to one of these people: Franz K?ther “IFA has given me personal development that I wouldn't have gotten anywhere else.” Franz has been an integral part of the IFA family for 17 years and, as Global Quality Director, manages all global quality issues. He began his career with us as a working student before completing his degree in industrial engineering in Magdeburg. Since then, he has played a key role in the relocation of Rotorion to Haldensleben, the founding of our subsidiary in Shanghai and our expansion into Poland. Franz's commitment goes far beyond office work: he visits our international locations at least twice a year and is in close contact with his teams worldwide on a daily basis. Whether in a team meeting or on site, Franz is always on hand to keep the quality of IFA at the highest level. Franz also shows commitment in his free time: he not only trains the next generation of club table tennis players, but also represents IFA at regional tournaments. “Table tennis offers me the perfect balance and strengthens my team spirit,” says Franz. ?? As the person responsible for #material planning and production control, Vanessa Oraschewski, along with her team, ensures every day that everything needed to manufacture millions of #drive shafts and joints at IFA Powertrain GmbH & Co. KG is available. The 30-year-old, who completed her training here ten years ago, has to keep an eye on quite a few things: after all, it involves more than 150 suppliers and around 4500 material numbers – ranging from small rubber and metal parts to tubes and forged parts.

His career led the trained #automotive technician on numerous trips abroad early on. Together with his team, which later grew to over 100 members, he helped establish the company's #testcenter and #prototype construction, among other achievements. The award was organized by the Faculty of Economics and Management of the Opole University of Technology, in collaboration with the Opole Voivodeship Labor Office, the Opole Economic Development Center, and the Opole Chamber of Commerce ????.
