This podcast will amplify the self-advocacy voice of Students with Disabilities! Hear how they first learned and developed this skill. Youth will share how they lead their IEP meetings and the impact of using this process to further self-develop: self-awareness, agency and leadership! You'll hear student led IEP meeting is the fuel towards fulfilling the mission statement of IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act). Our goal is to help all transition stakeholders to shift to a #StrengthsBased mindset and acknowledge every child with or without a disability goes through transitions ...many times in our lives!
