A special thank you to all who joined us for the third Inland Empire Hospital Best Practices Collaborative on Oct. 2. Inland Empire Health Plan’s Rancho Cucamonga campus served as the backdrop for the event, which invites hospital administrators and community advocates to better understand Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) hospital ratings and network with one another. The Collaborative comes weeks after IEHP leadership began touring hospitals to meet with those providing direct care services to our more than 1.5 million members. IEHP heads into our second year in the Covered California exchange as the lowest-cost Silver plan in the Inland Empire. Starting yesterday, the IEHP Covered team launched a retention and renewal campaign to reach over 23,000 current members, who can select plans before open enrollment period runs from Nov. 1 until Jan. 31, 2025. For Medi-Cal members who transitioned to Covered CA this year, IEHP Covered has ensured the continuity of quality care and coverage for little to no cost.
