Igniting Vibrant Health in the IE.

关于我们

IEHP Foundation is dedicated to advancing Vibrant Health in the Inland Empire by supporting and partnering with community-based organizations—our Champions for Vibrant Health! Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP) founded IEHP Foundation, a separate 501(c)(3) nonprofit, in July 2021. The Foundation strives to ensure all individuals in the Inland Empire have access to Vibrant Health — extending beyond traditional healthcare services and addressing the social determinants of health for the region's most vulnerable populations. IEHP Foundation partners with and supports CBOs and community leaders in San Bernardino and Riverside counties to advance Vibrant Health through public policy and advocacy, building capacity, investing, and leveraging funding for local CBOs and nonprofit organizations.

Meet Champion for Vibrant Health: Civil Rights Institute of Inland Southern California The Civil Rights Institute of Inland Southern California (CRIISC) is dedicated to preserving the region’s civil rights history and legacy while inspiring the next generation of social justice leaders. Finding community and connecting with others is at the heart of CRIISC. The institute is a multi-use space with exhibition, media, and diversity centers – each serving a crucial role for the community. Executive Director Sabrina Gonzalez states that CRIISC advances health equity in the region by highlighting the stories of marginalized communities that health disparities have most often impacted. “We intentionally designed the space to be a place to have difficult conversations, which are worth having. We trust that we can have these conversations in a way that allows us to build and grow and be accountable for the region’s past, present and future.” Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/grjv6SRy #ChampionforVibrantHealth

?? How your ZIP code impacts your health When we think about the factors that influence our health, we often consider things like diet, exercise and genetics. But one crucial, often overlooked factor is a person’s ZIP code. Simply put, where we live matters. Several research studies have found a direct correlation between a person’s overall health and their ZIP code. Thank you to Daily Bulletin and SoCal News Group for featuring this article by IEHP Foundation CEO Greg Bradbard and Marketing and Communications Manager Deanna Hendrick, MCM.
