We just held the 2024 November IEEE-USA Board of Directors meeting in Dallas, TX which was chaired by IEEE-USA President Keith Moore, PE. In 2024, IEEE-USA accomplished many of its objectives for our mission to support the career and public policy interests of IEEE’s U.S. members by effective collaborations between volunteer and staff. Through its products and services, IEEE-USA serves as a resource for enhancing the professional growth and career advancement of U.S. IEEE Members. Through its Government Relations programs, IEEE-USA works with all three branches of the federal government to help shape the workforce and technology policy to the benefit of members, the profession and the American public. Our vision is to serve the U.S. IEEE member by being the technical professional’s best resource for achieving lifelong career vitality and by providing an effective voice on policies that promote U.S. prosperity. As the 2024 IEEE-USA President-Elect, I would like to thank you to the 2024 Board for your leadership service! In 2025, I look forward to strengthening our programs with vitality, to cooperate more with other Organziational Units (OUs) across IEEE, continue to foster community building between industry, academia and government, to voice support to critical policys that support science and engineering.
