The spots are filling up for the 2025 IEEE Region 5?student?competitions that will take place on March 29th, 2025 in Wichita, KS at the Region 5 Annual Meeting! Our submission site is now open! Submit your work in the area of sustainable technologies, power systems, green energy and green computing with us and get published in hashtag #IEEEXplore. Top 20% of the papers related to IEEE Industrial Applications Society will be recommended for further review and possible publication in IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications. Hayley struggled through undergrad then started her career at a chemical company, but her passion was always the space industry with a goal of working at NASA. She volunteered at space-related STEM outreach programs which gave her the foundations she needed to transition into the space industry, first working for a sub-contractor and now working for NASA. Hayley's story has insights that can help both high school and university students, as well as young professionals looking to change industries. All are welcome to join.
