MEMS 2025's Early Bird registration rates end Thursday, 19 November. Check out the detailed program https://lnkd.in/gBHmMRAS just posted! mems2025.org
IEEE Micro Electro Mechanical Systems (MEMS) Technical Community will keep you abreast of the latest in MEMS ideas, designs, and manufacturing methodologies, many of which could very well spark new thinking and enable new capabilities in a myriad of IEEE fields. MEMS is an enabling technology harnessing the benefits of miniaturization in physical domains beyond the electrical and found in billions of devices today. The field of MEMS encompasses tiny (generally chip-scale) devices or systems capable of realizing functions not easily achievable via macroscopic ones. Many IEEE organizational units already benefit from MEMS, as the utility of its fundamental concepts and technology touches nearly all IEEE field of interest areas.

Two weeks left to submit your abstract! Looking forward to seeing you in Taiwan in January!
In our next SFBA MEMS & Sensors Chapter meeting, we will have the opportunity to hear from Dr. Mahesh?Chowdhary, Fellow &?Senior Director of MEMS Software Solutions at?STMicroelectronics. He will focus on all aspects of on-sensor machine learning that are increasingly being used to build solutions with an always-on user experience and extremely low current consumption (~microAmps) for MEMS sensor applications. Please, join us via Zoom or In-Person on Wednesday, April 24th from 6:30 to 8pm (PT). More details in the link below ??

MEMS-TC collaborated with IEEE SENSORS 2023 as a Silver Patron. We hosted an exhibitor booth?that was visited by many attendees during the Poster breaks. Our goal in the booth was to explain our values and mission and try to persuade those involved in the #MEMS field to join our community. Our message was simple: “MEMS is disseminated across multiple councils and societies, so if you want to have a stronger voice within?IEEE?you should support our cause to become council, and then a society.” Many of them were interested and grabbed our informational flyers. Moreover, we had the opportunity to interact with officers from the Sensors Council and supporting societies that provided us with valuable feedback.?Our organization also sponsored the Conference Award Ceremony. This year, there were 5 award categories: Best Paper Award, Best Student Paper Award, Best Live Demo, WiSe/YP Big Idea Pitch Competition, and YP Poster Session. The event overall was successful and received more than 1,000 attendees (40% more than usual). We are looking forward to our next collaboration with this conference. #research #mems #sensors
