The IEEE R5 Houston Section really enjoyed the event and the opportunity to partner up.
Last night, the NSBE Houston Professionals celebrated our annual gala, where we honored Vanessa Wyche, Director of the Johnson Space Center, with the Innovation Excellence Award. After months of dedicated effort, securing Vanessa Wyche as our keynote speaker was a thrill. Her presence made the event unforgettable, and it was an incredible honor to share her company at our table. Yesterday actually marked the 55th anniversary of Apollo 11’s historic moon landing, and Wyche’s inspiring speech was a powerful reminder of human achievement and the limitless possibilities of the future. The gala was a resounding success, thanks in large part to the incredible work of Karen Reeder and Keiron Durant.
