?? We were delighted to have many USF students join our student researchers panel. The workshop featured students who are proactively conducting research, and was made special by our amazing student researchers Samir Ahmed, Nadezhda Korostyleva, and Mustafa Mannan ?? Coordinated by our Professional Development Lead Jode Mustafa, the workshop centered around our student panelists’ fascinating research journeys - from seeking research assistant positions at USF, to finalizing their first manuscripts, getting published, and attending their first conferences! ?? The live Q&A session was particularly engaging, with enthusiastic USF students asking insightful questions. They were especially interested in how the panelists overcame research challenges (including those moments of “banging their heads against the wall” until taking a much-needed break!) and how they maintained motivation throughout their research. ?? Thank you to everyone who joined this insightful workshop - we couldn’t have done it without you all. We look forward to seeing you at our next event! #ProfessionalDevelopment?#Spring25 #ResearchAssistant?#Publication?#GradSchool?#PhD #ieeecsusf?#ieeecs?#ieee?#usf?#usfengineering
