We are thrilled to present our completed restoration project: Georgetown Townhomes in Jacksonville, Florida. This project involved significant wood rot repairs including framing, stucco, stone masonry veneer and brickwork. New shingle and TPO flat roofs were installed and windows and sliding glass doors were removed, re-flashed and reinstalled. At I&E Construction, safety always comes first. Recently, we completed an 80-foot Aerial Lift Certification in Jacksonville, FL. This crucial training ensures that we adhere to OSHA standards while staying proactive and informed. Our team was thoroughly trained in the full pre-lift process, which includes work area inspection, capacity limits, and equipment checks. The training also included fall prevention, proper use of PPE, and an extensive hands-on operation and maneuvering of the lift. We recently held a site visit at one our projects in Jacksonville, FL.?Hosting site visits to our projects help our partners better understand defects of the building envelope system and the process needed to restore it. Improvements to the building envelope include creating an airtight barrier to reduce infiltration in exterior walls and roofs. The entire structure of this four-story, three-building condominium complex in Rosemary Beach, FL underwent extensive forensic testing. I&E Construction was chosen for this project due to our proven experience and comprehensive understanding of building envelope systems. The I&E crew discovered significant wood rot around the balcony decking and framing, improper roof installation, and water intrusion issues affecting various exterior components of the community.
