I had the opportunity to attend the North Central Texas Watershed Stakeholders Meeting yesterday with representatives from various agencies and cities across the DFW metroplex. Several important topics, including initiatives on riparian areas, wastewater and stormwater management, air quality improvement, and comprehensive climate action plans were discussed. The networking interactions were incredibly valuable, and it was inspiring to hear about the innovative projects happening in our region. I'm thrilled to see so many great projects taking shape in the DFW metroplex and look forward to the positive impact they will have on our communities. #Networking #DFW #Sustainability #EnvironmentalInitiatives #CommunityImpact #NCTCOG

IEA’s Marketing Manager, Jerry Allison, had a fantastic time at the 2025 SAME Infrastructure Forum in Lancaster, Texas! 🏗️ The forum featured insightful sessions from US Army Corps of Engineers, Texas Department of Transportation (representing TxDOT DAL & TxDOT FTW), NCTCOG Transportation, Dallas County Public Works, Dallas Water Utilities, DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit), and Trinity Metro. Attendees gained valuable updates on infrastructure developments at the state and federal levels, as well as key initiatives within each organization. One standout moment was USACE SW Division Commander Col. Calvin Kroeger’s discussion on USACE’s 236 projects and their impact across the state. Amazing to see the future of infrastructure unfolding, creating stronger and more connected communities! #IEAInc #SAMEDALLAS #SAMEFORTWORTH

🚧 February's #ProjectSpotlight: TxDOT US 75 Widening & Reconstruction 🚧 #IEAInc is proud to have contributed to the transformation of this 14-mile corridor, expanding it from 4 to 6 lanes. The project involved significant enhancements to frontage roads, intersections, and drainage infrastructure — each requiring innovative solutions and seamless teamwork to ensure success. Schematic/Environmental Phase Highlights: 🌉 Bridge Design: IEA worked on a 2,500-foot prestressed concrete girder bridge to elevate the main lanes above the 100-Year floodplain, ensuring resilience and long-term roadway safety. 💧Drainage Design: Our team evaluated 9 major creek crossings, 13 culverts, and 2 bridges to avoid floodplain issues. 🤝 Stakeholder Coordination: IEA collaborated with TxDOT, the City of Sherman, and local agencies to align project goals and deadlines. This project showcases IEA’s expertise in transportation infrastructure and our dedication to innovative, community-focused solutions that enhance safety and improve mobility. #DesignedForYOU #PositivePartnership

Yesterday, our drainage engineers, Rakib Siddique, PE, CFM, ENV SP, and Ani Ramaraju, EIT, CFM, ENV SP, attended technical sessions at the ASCE Dallas Branch Monthly Meeting on Environmental & Water Resources and Construction Institute Tracks.💧🌎 #IEAInc #WaterResources #ASCEDALLAS
I had the pleasure of attending a fantastic technical seminar hosted by the ASCE - EWRI Dallas Chapter. The event featured insightful technical sessions and a keynote luncheon, providing an opportunity to network and learn about the latest trends in water resources and environmental engineering. There were a variety of topics covered in the presentations, including designing stormwater treatment BMPs, flood resiliency initiatives from North Central Texas Council of Governments, and leveraging satellite data and AI to improve floodplain mapping. I was particularly impressed by the innovative projects in the DFW metroplex, especially the NCTCOG's proactive approach to tackle challenges arises from the fast growth in DFW Metro area. It was also a fantastic opportunity to connect with peers and exchange valuable insights. Looking forward to more such enriching experiences! #WaterResources #Networking #ProfessionalDevelopment #ASCE #EWRI
