?? We are pleased to announce our new faculty Dr.Lacy Greening. "Lacy Greening joined the School of Computing and Augmented Intelligence in Fall 2024 as an Assistant Professor in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management at ASU. She earned her Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering with a focus on supply chain engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and holds both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Oklahoma State University. During her doctoral studies, she was a Dwight D. Eisenhower Transportation Fellow, collaborated with The Home Depot, and interned as a Research Scientist with Amazon’s Middle Mile Planning, Research, and Optimization Sciences (mmPROS) team. Her research interests center on supply chain planning problems, particularly in the operation and design of large-scale logistics and transportation systems. She earned US DOT Dwight D. Eisenhower Transportation Fellow Award and Atlanta Air Cargo Association Research Excellence Award. She is currently teaching IEE 461: Production Control in Fall 2024. Her research is Large-scale optimization for logistics and transportation system design and operation; transportation network design; supply chain sustainability and resiliency; e-commerce fulfillment logistics" Some fun facts about her is that she enjoys cycling and she is looking forward to exploring the city by bike. Last year, she biked from Atlanta, GA to Savannah, GA (around 275 miles / 240km) over a long weekend. Do not hesitate to connect with her and say hi.
