A tradition at IDEMIA that I greatly value is the strong focus on continuous innovation and collaboration across different teams. In what ways has your position at IDEMIA contributed to your professional or personal development? As a Software QA Manager at IDEMIA, I’ve grown both personally and professionally by working with advanced digital, biometric, and security solutions. This role has expanded my knowledge of industry standards, enhanced my problem-solving and management skills, and improved my ability to lead in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. My experience has also strengthened my adaptability and strategic thinking, enabling me to deliver high-quality products. How do you prefer to begin or conclude your day? I begin my day by reviewing priority tasks and the team's progress, removing obstacles, and offering support to help them achieve their goals. This aligns the team's efforts and sets a positive tone. At the end of the day, I reflect on our accomplishments, identify areas for improvement, and check in to see where the team needs support. As a habit, at the end of the day, I always want to see the team make at least one step forward in overcoming challenging areas—it brings a sense of satisfaction. Looking for a new role? What's one thing you think every new hire should know about IDEMIA? IDEMIA is constantly evolving, so being able to adapt is key. There are always new opportunities to learn, grow, and advance. Embracing change will help you succeed. What's something you've done at work that you never imagined you'd do? I’ve had the chance to take on a leadership role and work on projects that can sometimes push me out of my comfort zone. It has been an incredible learning experience! What do you look forward to most each day? I look forward to the unexpected. Each day brings new challenges and opportunities that allow me to adapt, which keeps my work exciting and engaging. How do you handle challenges or setbacks at work? As a manager there are always challenges or setbacks that can come up. When dealing with these situations, I try to focus on problem solving and to stay as clear headed as possible. Who has been a mentor or role model to you in your career? I’ve been fortunate enough to work with a strong team. When I first started, I had the NY OM team and Darin Fuhro who were especially helpful.
