Hey, I’m Francesca, founder of Ideas Fest. We launched Ideas Fest because of the dreaded c-word: Covid! As the founder of an events business running some of the largest awards programmes, communities, and events for entrepreneurs and leaders in the UK, the pandemic presented its fair share of challenges. During a time when indoor events were off the table, the idea of hosting an outdoor festival started to take root. Fast forward to 2022, when we launched the very first Ideas Fest. It was a completely new concept—a business event, in a field? Explaining what attendees could expect was no easy feat, but they took a chance, and thankfully, they loved it. Ideas Fest is now a unique, two-day gathering that’s part festival, part community, and part think tank for ambitious individuals. It’s where entrepreneurs, founders, innovators, and business leaders come together to connect, collaborate, and be inspired. We focus on sparking ideas and creating an unforgettable experience. From thought-provoking talks and practical workshops to live music, wellness spaces, and immersive activations, it’s not your typical business event. In 2025, we’re welcoming 4,000 attendees who want to think big, dream boldly, and leave with more than just a business card. If that sounds like you, we’d love to see you there. At last year’s Ideas Fest, over ￡4 million in investments were made in just two days, all from people connecting in one field. And that’s just what we know about. Pretty incredible! Some people were meeting for the first time, others were finally connecting in real life after only knowing each other on LinkedIn. Some reunited with familiar faces, some ran into close friends and colleagues, and others showed up with a whole squad. We talk about community a lot here because we care about like-minded people coming together to make great things happen.
