Since 2009, City Teaching Alliance has been committed to training culturally responsive educators and tackling the inequities that exist in urban education. Their work empowers educators to make lasting changes in their communities. The City Teaching Alliance team faced challenges with an outdated, unreliable online portal that made communication and task management more difficult for both teachers and staff. To resolve this, we partnered with City Teaching Alliance to develop the Compass portal — a mobile-optimized, all-in-one platform that streamlined their operations and improved efficiency. The new system helped in several key ways: ?? Simplified task tracking for teachers and staff ?? Centralized management of resources and program materials ?? Increased transparency and communication across teams ?? Better organization of program requirements and deadlines The impact has been significant and further empowered City Teaching Alliance's mission. We worked with Non-GMO Project, North America's most trusted seal for GMO avoidance, to unify their disconnected systems into a single Salesforce instance. This solution created a central repository for all certification-related data, enhanced by an Experience Cloud Portal to manage prospects, clients, and verifications all in real time. Since 2009, City Teaching Alliance has been dedicated to preparing culturally responsive educators and addressing inequities in urban education. The City Alliance team ended up facing challenges with an outdated and unreliable online portal. The platform failed to facilitate effective communication, causing confusion and inefficiencies for both teachers and staff. To solve this issue, we worked with City Alliance to launch the Compass portal — a mobile-friendly, centralized system that streamlined teacher task tracking, resource management, and program requirements. The results were transformative. This Compass portal has not only improved internal processes (enhanced visibility, improved task management, etc.) but also empowered City Teaching Alliance to continue driving its mission of equity and excellence in education.
