We're so proud of our crew members' hard work on this important project!
This week our team’s neighborhood urban heat study was highlighted by several local media outlets with Idaho News 6 & KTVB News Group. As part of our partnership with the Community Forestry Corps Program, led by Center for Regenerative Solutions, we are collaborating with CAPA STRATEGIES, LLC, City of Boise & Idaho Conservation Corps (ICC) on a 6-week urban heat monitoring campaign in Boise’s Borah Neighborhood. The data gathered by our ICC Urban & Community Forestry Youth Crews will provide valuable information about the human experience with extreme heat ?? across the neighborhood, which will be used to influence policy development and future neighborhood cooling strategies across Boise and the Treasure Valley. https://lnkd.in/gjuPpg3y https://lnkd.in/gfq6wgm3
