Meet Lori Farris ? Senior Business Consultant Lori has been with Idaho APEX for a little over two years and enjoys working with small business owners to create success in the SLED and the Federal marketplace. Prior to joining the APEX team, the majority of her career was spent in procurement at Northern Arizona University and Boise State University, where Lori served as the Assistant Director of Procurement. Drawing from her experience of writing, issuing, analyzing, and awarding invitations to bid (ITBs) and requests for proposals (RFPs), I enjoy assisting APEX clients with responding to solicitations. She serves her clients by aiding them with understanding the ITB and RFP processes, quickly and effectively reviewing solicitations, and creating the most successful bid or proposal. Lori also enjoys working closely with her clients on applying and obtaining SBA socio-economic certifications (WOSB, VOSB, etc.), marketing their business to federal, state, and local agencies, and understanding teaming, subcontracting, and joint ventures. One of Lori's specialties is the state, local, and education marketplaces (SLED). She partners with her clients on effective marketing, communication, and bidding strategies in this marketplace, which has a wide variety of rules and processes. The APEX Team is thankful for Lori's skills and happy to have her on our team!
