Grantee Spotlight! Snake River Waterkeeper (SRW) is an environmental advocacy group with the mission of “applying science and law to protect, restore and sustain waters of the Snake River Basin”. We bring winning litigation and shepherd inclusive community projects to improve water quality across the entire Snake River Basin. SRW works to protect native fish populations and ensure safe drinking and recreational water is a reality for all people groups residing in all six states with water draining into the Snake River Basin—now, and for future generations.

Grantee Spotlight! Weiser Memorial Hospital's mission is "Linking the community and the hospital to develop the resources to deliver high quality healthcare."

Grantee Spotlight! The Shepherd’s Home nurtures children in need by providing a loving family home. We serve children of all ages. Our trained and compassionate team values each child, offers unconditional love, and encourages each child a sense of self-worth. As a result, we play a part in breaking the cycle of abuse and neglect.

Grantee Spotlight! The McCall Public Library is a popular and vital community service which is enjoyed year-round by residents and visitors to the McCall area. It is open to the public six days a week and offers a wide variety of materials and services for patrons. The mission of the McCall Public Library is: “The McCall Public Library is the anchor for the heart, mind, and spirit of our community. Our mission is to provide boundless opportunities to educate, inspire, and connect patrons of all ages, backgrounds and views.”

Grantee Spotlight! The Intermountain Fair Housing Council (IFHC), is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to ensure open and inclusive housing for all persons without regard to race, color, sex, religion, national origin, familial status, sexual orientation, gender identity, a source of income, or disability. The IFHC attempts to eradicate discrimination through education on the fair housing laws, housing information and referral, housing counseling, and assistance with mediating and or filing fair housing complaints, among other things.

Join us October 2nd at the IWCF Symposium. Breakouts address a broad range of state, local and individual efforts to positively affect environmental issues. Learn more about community-driven conservation groups, sustainability efforts by for-profit businesses and utilities, research at local universities, and student-led activities. Other sessions will explore climate related to land use, health, home energy audits, rivers, and wildfire management.
