Today in NYC: The Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center honored #MBDA's 43 Capital Readiness Program (CRP) awardees on the Nasdaq Tower in Times Square. After a little over a year since the program's inception, our #CRP awardees have: - Served 6,326 entrepreneurs - Helped raise $263 million in capital - Helped form 2,636 new businesses - Helped develop 1,726 business pitches - Helped host 2,486 networking events Thank you for empowering America's minority entrepreneurs. ?At our grand opening this past Thursday, we were overwhelmed by the incredible support we received for our foundation. The outpouring words of encouragement and solidarity from the community made us feel truly embraced and motivated. Thank you to Beto Yarce (he/him) Regional Administrator of SBA's Pacific Northwest Region, Mayor Debbie Kling, and El Consul Titular Ricardo Gerardo Higuera for their remarks and continued support. Thank you to Jay from Sick Wash, Efrain Rodriguez and Dr. Javier del Hoyo from Vitalistic Wellness, Deborah Artiaga from Go 2 U Cafe, and for sharing your entrepreneurial journeys. Thank you to Mitch and the Nampa Chamber of Commerce for organizing our ribbon cutting and their members for coming and showing out! Thank you to Wells Fargo for presenting a check of $25,000 to aid in continuing our commitment to economic development. Thank you to St. Luke's Health System. for being a huge part in helping us start the IHF FCRC where we can help individuals like Eva who showed great courage in telling us her story. I recently had the incredible opportunity to tour Idaho, where I engaged with inspiring communities and celebrated some remarkable achievements and milestones. During my visit, I strengthened connections with the Idaho Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, marking a significant occasion with the Idaho Hispanic Foundation and participating in their ribbon-cutting celebration. It was a privilege to deliver remarks and support their mission of empowering Hispanic businesses and entrepreneurs. I was also honored to serve as the keynote speaker at the Idaho Veterans Chamber of Commerce National Veteran Small Business Week event. Recognizing the Idaho Small Business Development Center as the Entrepreneurial Partner of the Year was a heartfelt highlight, showcasing the vital role they play in supporting veteran entrepreneurs. I had the pleasure of meeting with the new Business Impact NW Idaho Women’s Business Center team, which was an enriching experience. Moreover, I visited some extraordinary veteran-owned businesses, aiming to meet people where they are and express gratitude for their service and contributions to our economy. These small businesses are the backbone of our community and a testament to resilience and innovation. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve in this capacity and remain committed to connecting businesses with the resources available through the U.S. Small Business Administration From capital and counseling to federal contracting and disaster readiness, our mission is to empower entrepreneurs at every turn. We had the privilege of attending the Idaho Hispanic Foundation's ribbon cutting today at the Nampa Hispanic Cultural Center! ?? The IHF has spent years working on the development of Hispanic small businesses and entrepreneurs by providing resources from credit guidance to one-on-one workshops. Getting to listen to all of the sucess stories of the new upcoming businesses was EMPOWERING! Like Mari Ramos said in her speach, podemos hacer cualquier cosa en familia!
