Last night, Idaho Forest Group (IFG) had the honor of recognizing some of the incredible individuals whose hard work and dedication made the Prichard Creek Conservation Agreement a reality. This landmark agreement protects nearly 2,000 acres along Prichard Creek, a critical tributary of the Coeur d’Alene River in northern Idaho. Together, we’re restoring an area impacted by early 20th-century mining, with tangible progress already seen: ?? Beaver activity ?? Thriving vegetation ?? Improved habitats for cutthroat trout ?? A revitalized ecosystem This restoration project helps support sustainable land use and enables future generations to cherish and care for this special place. As an operation that relies on technology and robotics, IFG is a proud supporter of the University of Idaho's Center for Intelligent Industrial Robotics. Earlier this year, IFG helped support four new FANUC collaborative robots (aka, Cobots) in the U of I robotics labs in Moscow and Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. IFG knows that by supporting Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) education, we are better positioned to cultivate a skilled future workforce and drive efficiencies in manufacturing through innovation, advanced technologies, and problem-solving expertise. #govandals #STEM #WorkforceDevelopment
