This is an interesting read. The education sector, STEM education especially seems to attract more active owners who are passionate about how their campus benefits kids in their communities, but we do have many successful franchisees who see ownership as part of their investment portfolio and leave the management of the business to a skilled director tasked with keeping the business moving in the right direction. Neither approach is right or wrong, it's all about the motivations of the business owner.
