Institute for Computational and Mathematical Engineering at Stanford University (ICME)

Students and faculty at the Institute for Computational & Mathematical Engineering (ICME) conduct groundbreaking research using advanced mathematical and computing capabilities to better understand and address complex problems. ICME students participate in a wide array of interdisciplinary research led by faculty from 20 departments both in and outside the School of Engineering. ICME Affiliated Faculty represent all nine Engineering departments and work with ICME students in fluid dynamics, design, molecular dynamics, ocean flows, groundwater simulation, graph theory and network algorithms, graphics, parallel programming, and many other engineering problems.
