We are proud to honor this year’s Judy L. Kelsey Scholarship recipients: Allison “Fredi” Hayes and Jaritza “Jari” Nunez. Named after a pioneer in local government, this scholarship supports emerging women leaders in the ICMA Local Government Management Fellowship (LGMF) program. ? Allison “Fredi” Hayes - Currently a fellow in Town of Shelburne, Vermont, Fredi has already secured a $73,000 grant to expand electric vehicle infrastructure and is helping to navigate new state requirements for local volunteers. ? Jaritza “Jari” Nunez - A fellow in The City of Bakersfield, Jari is driving innovative projects focused on accessibility and equity, with a passion for affordable housing and economic development. She is committed to fostering inclusive communities. Both women are shaping the future of local government, thanks to this scholarship. Congratulations, Fredi and Jari!?
