"I’ve always believed that sustainability isn’t an option - it’s a necessity. Hi, my name is Daniel Dias de Lima and as a Market Development Consultant at ICL Group, I bridge scientific knowledge with practical solutions for farmers. My journey began on farms in the U.S. and Australia, where I calculated and applied fertilizers for various crops. I loved hands-on work, but I noticed something important: sustainability in agriculture isn’t just about using fewer inputs—it’s about making better use of what we have. Managing resources more effectively, improving soil health, and fine-tuning practices can lead to higher yields with less impact. That realization was a turning point for me. When I returned to Brazil, I dove deeper into soil science, working as a consultant and even teaching. Inspiring the next generation of agronomists was fulfilling, but my role at ICL now allows me to bring all my knowledge together. Now, I help farmers grow more while protecting the land we all depend on. One moment i'm especially proud of was helping a farmer in Brazil win the first place for the Center-West region in a national soybean contest using regenerative agriculture. His success proved that sustainability and productivity can thrive together. That’s what drives me—showing that when we care for our soil and resources, we create a future where everyone can grow. One small act of kindness can spark something big! This past quarter, our ICL USA team showed just how it’s done ?? From providing meals to supporting accessibility and senior care, our St. Louis team joined forces to reflect ICL’s core values of care, compassion, community, and collaboration. Here’s what we’ve achieved together: ?? St. Louis Area Foodbank: ICL volunteers partnered with United Way, packing 8,976 pounds of produce, providing 7,480 meals for families in need. ?? Paraquad – Enhancing Accessibility: Employees from our St. Louis HQ and Carondelet Plant volunteered at Paraquad, organizing and cleaning adaptive equipment like walkers and canes to ensure accessibility for those who need it most. ?? Lutheran Senior Services: At our United Way kickoff, employees assembled 50 care kits and created Thanksgiving and Veterans’ Day cards to bring warmth and connection to local seniors. ?? ICL NA Growing Solutions Sales Meetings: Our Ag team gathered in Fresno, CA, for strategic sessions strengthening our commitment to growth, sustainability, and collaboration in agronomy, marketing, and logistics.
