The 2-day Design Thinking Workshop at The Jubilee Institute during Global Entrepreneurship Week 2024 was one of the most exciting and enriching experiences I've had. In collaboration with IBTECAR Consulting, the workshop introduced students to the five stages of design thinking: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test, while aligning their ideas with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Working alongside incredible experts like Tariq B., Sawsan Zayed, Diana Altamimi, MBE, and Eng. Mohammad Aleisah a privilege, and our 11th-grade Design Thinking Assistant Coaches showcased remarkable leadership throughout. Our Jubilee alumni, including Eng. AlMotasem Abu Hamdi, Dr. Mohammad Hatamleh, Ph. Suzan Daradkeh, Heba Miqdadi, Eng. Bahaa Abboud, and Shahed Abu Hammour, added invaluable expertise in diverse fields like health, education, and sustainability. On the second day, we were honored to host the CUSP team from the UK—Richard Bampfylde, Dr. Frances Harris, and Prof. Fergus Lyon - whose insights on SDGs and social entrepreneurship inspired both students and coaches. The workshop concluded with an exciting pitching session judged by Eng. Mohammad Diab, Lara Nassar, and Rawan Jalabneh, highlighting the students' innovative ideas. A heartfelt thank you to Impact Week for paving the way. Thanks to this initiative, I and other Design Thinking Coaches are equipped to transfer this knowledge to younger generations.
