The team has wrapped up the first week of the latest expedition, working tirelessly to protect the fragile coral reefs of Manawai. One of the areas they visited hadn’t been touched in over three years, and in just one day, they removed an astonishing 10,000 pounds of ghost nets!? Ghost nets (discarded fishing gear made of plastic) continue to trap marine life long after they're lost, devastating coral reefs and endangering countless animals.? This is just the beginning! Insider threats aren’t always easy to detect. The key is to stay alert to unusual behaviors, which may signal something is wrong. Look for these indicators: > Unusual Data Access: Employees accessing information outside of their normal responsibilities or after hours. > Bypassing Security Controls: Attempts to disable or ignore security policies could be red flags. > Changes in Behavior: Watch out for sudden shifts in attitude, declining performance, or secrecy regarding work. The earlier you identify an insider threat, the quicker you can respond. Every employee plays a role in safeguarding the organization—when in doubt, report it!
