Founded as an industrial local in 1928, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 302 (IBEW Local 302) is now known for its strong mix of residential, commercial, and industrial electrical work. IBEW Local 302 spans from the Bay to the Delta. We are proud to provide the best trained and most efficient electricians and sound and communication installers in Contra Costa County, who anticipate and meet the evolving needs of electrical construction and maintenance. We promote our members’ safety and prosperity through advocacy, education, and fellowship.

Rachel has been a union electrician for 20 years. She became an apprentice in 2004, where she earned a free education and a living wage while learning how to be an electrician. Today, she is one of our assistant business managers. Check out what union membership can mean to you and your career.
This is what an electrician looks like! A big shout out to the women of IBEW Local Union 302 for another successful Women’s dinner to discuss pertinent issues affecting the construction industry. We also had a few sisters from surrounding locals join the camaraderie. Looking forward to the next one!
