Later this week, on March 8, the world will be celebrating International Women's Day, so it's only appropriate that we highlight the importance of women's leadership in circular economy. Stefania Biondino, in an article titled "Women in Leadership Driving Circular Economy" and published by American University - Kogod School of Business makes a case that: "There is a clear correlation between circular business models and the presence of women in decision-making positions.?Research indicates that companies with higher levels of female leadership are more likely to adopt sustainable practices, reduce waste, and increase resource efficiency. In fact, analyzing 61,549 observations across 8,923 companies in 74 geographic areas found a strong correlation between female leadership and circular economy strategies. FRIDAY TRIVIA - You think you will post your video on YouTube, then be ready for some competition. You see, there nearly 15 Billion videos posted on YouTube. Though not all are created equal. Also, YouTube is turning 20, and, surprisingly, its owner, Google, is secretive about some key statistics associated with it. A study conducted by University of Massachusetts Amherst, has uncovered some interesting statistics. First, you should know that YouTube is the second most visited website in the world. According to the University of Massachusetts Amherst study estimates, among the YouTube videos, “Those with some kind of set or background design accounted for 14% of videos, while only 38% had undergone any form of editing. More than half of the videos had "noticeably shaky" camera work. Only around 18% of videos we're judged to have high quality sound, and the sound quality varied significantly almost 85% of the time.
