You said 2025 would be your year. Yet here we are, scrolling on our phones. It’s easy to get lost in endless content, isn’t it? A quick check of notifications turns into minutes, sometimes hours, of scrolling through an algorithm that knows exactly how to hold our attention. We tell ourselves it’s necessary: staying updated, networking, or even just taking a break. And those reasons can be valid. But when scrolling becomes automatic, a habit that fills our time without purpose, it’s worth asking: What are we avoiding? What are we missing? Most of us can relate to this in some way, and we’ve probably noticed it in others, maybe even younger people who look up to us. It’s on us to lead by example, to remind them (and ourselves) that there's more to life. It's time to build healthier habits with our phones.
