The plumbing industry in Massachusetts celebrated its Third Annual Plumbing Industry Day this week at the State House.?Representatives from all the major plumbing organizations attended to talk to legislators and staff about the vital role #plumbing and safe #sanitation provides for the health and safety of the residents of the Old Bay State. The highlight of the day was an appearance by Governor Maura Healey who gave brief remarks on the importance of plumbing and clean water for economic growth and development as well as for job creation. It was also great to see members of the Greater Boston Plumbing Contractors Association, PHCC of MA, Massachusetts Executive Office of Economic Development (EOED), MA Division of Occupational Licensure and UA Local 12!

We are pleased to announce that we have officially received both ema accreditation and CONAGUA approval to certify products to Mexico’s new NOM-012-CONAGUA-2021 standard. IAPMO R&T is the first, and currently the only certification body in the world authorized to do so. This new regulation introduces, for the first time in Mexico, mandatory testing of faucets, valves, and fittings that involve drinking water.
