I Am Brilliant

Celebrating the Power of Community and Inspiration at the 2025 Black Enterprise Magazine Women of Power Summit I recently had the privilege of attending the 2025 Black Enterprise Women of Power Summit in Las Vegas, where I supported my beautiful wife, Shemekka Ebony Stewart-Isaacs. What unfolded was nothing short of transformative - a gathering masterfully produced by Black Enterprise that showcased brilliant Black professional women sharing their talents and inspiring one another. On my flight to Las Vegas, I watched Disney's "Mufasa" and was struck by its powerful message. Mufasa, an orphan, was excluded from the male lion pack and instead found himself surrounded by the lionesses. Through this experience, he gained profound insights and emerged stronger because of the wisdom shared by these female lions. This resonated deeply with me during the summit, where I found myself surrounded by phenomenal women whose strength and brilliance filled me with inspiration. The event represented a full-circle moment in my journey. Twenty-five years ago, Black Enterprise changed my life when they featured me as a 16-year-old entrepreneur in their magazine. Now, standing among these powerful women and reconnecting with the institution that helped launch my career, I gained valuable perspective on this next chapter of my life. To Black Enterprise and all the women of power at the summit - thank you for changing my life beyond measure. Your impact continues to shape not just my path, but the future possibilities I now see before me.
