Eating disorders are serious and complex mental health conditions that affect millions worldwide. It’s important to understand the different types and the impact they can have on individuals. Here are some of the most common eating disorders: Anorexia Nervosa: Extreme food restriction and fear of gaining weight. Bulimia Nervosa: Binge eating followed by purging behaviors. Binge Eating Disorder: Recurrent episodes of overeating without compensatory behaviors. Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID): Severe food avoidance, often due to texture or fear of eating. These disorders are complex and require support for recovery. Big thanks to the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) for the important information. #MentalHealthAwareness #EatingDisorders #RecoveryIsPossible #SupportAndCare

Being a caregiver is one of the most rewarding yet demanding roles, and it’s easy to overlook your own needs in the process. Remember, you can’t pour from an empty cup. Taking time for self-care isn’t selfish—it’s essential. Whether it’s a few minutes of deep breathing, a short walk, or asking for help when you need it, small moments of rest can make a big difference. Prioritize your mental and physical well-being so you can show up as the best version of yourself for those you care for. You matter too. #CaregiverSupport #StressManagement #SelfCareForCaregivers #MentalHealthMatters
