At the New York Chapter of the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (iaedp), we aim to promote a high level of professionalism among practitioners who treat individuals with eating disorders by promoting ethical and professional standards, offering education and training in the field, certifying those who have met prescribed requirements, promoting public and professional awareness of eating disorders and assisting in prevention efforts.

    Join Erika Malm, LCSW, for a presentation on the use of Ketamine Assisted Transformational Therapy (KATT) for the treatment of eating and co-occurring disorders. ? KATT, grounded in the theory and research of Relational Neurobiology,?Emotion Focused Therapy, Emotion-Focused Family Therapy?and Memory Reconsolidation, is a comprehensive treatment for both clients and their loved ones that pairs Ketamine with targeted experiential, somatic and emotion-focused interventions to facilitate deep healing. Erika Malm is a psychotherapist in private practice in NYC who provides individual, couples and family therapy with a specialization in clients who have not responded to conventional treatment models. Erika employs experiential, emotion-focused, body-based interventions in the service of individual and collective transformative healing. Her approach to treatment is an integrative and interdisciplinary model grounded in the theory and research of Relational Neurobiology, Emotion Focused Therapy and Memory Reconsolidation. Erika trains and supervises therapists in the treatment of eating and co-occurring disorders, psychedelic assisted psychotherapies, and psychedelic integration techniques. Alyssa Moslow, LCSW, is the founder of MoslowMind Psychotherapy in Port Washington, NY, where she supports adolescents and young adults navigate life’s challenges with compassionate, evidence-based care. Specializing in eating disorders, OCD, anxiety, depression, and trauma, Alyssa combines her Master’s degree from NYU Silver School of Social Work with advanced certifications in RO-DBT, ERP, and Intuitive Eating. She is committed to providing a collaborative and safe space for clients to explore their emotions, develop coping skills, and work toward lasting recovery. Alyssa recognizes the importance of family dynamics, especially for her younger clients, and emphasizes the role of family support in the healing process. Her practice is built on ongoing collaboration with families and providers, which is the cornerstone of her work. With a strong commitment to continuing education, Alyssa ensures that clients receive the most effective and up-to-date therapeutic interventions. Alyssa’s approach is rooted in empowerment, guiding both individuals and families toward greater well-being, resilience, and meaningful change. On a personal note, when Alyssa isn’t working, she loves spending time at the park with her husband and their cavapoo, Wainscott, who is obsessed with fetch and being chased.
