We were honored to sponsor and participate in the 2025 Mil2Civ sporting clay fundraiser in Midland!! These guys help veterans and their families get acclimated to civilian life and work with them through any life struggles they encounter along the way. It’s an amazing group and they are doing amazing work helping our veterans! The members and executive committee of IADC Permian Basin Chapter put in the effort and hustle all year long hosting events to raise money, and it’s a blessing to get to spread it out on worthy causes! He started in August of 2024, and his supervisor said “He has excelled at learning all of his roles and responsibilities. The numbers are in and our first IADC Permian Sporting clay shoot was a big success!! ???? We had 29 teams with 116 shooters on 2 courses, and gave away 40 beautiful guns to some lucky winners! We had a blast doing it, and can’t wait till next year! Because of the money raised we will be able to add several more scholarships for next year!! Thank you MIDLAND SHOOTERS ASSOCIATION INC for providing the venue, Marc Flores for the tables and chairs, SK Arms Company, LLC for the guns and doing the paperwork, Patterson-UTI for being a gold sponsor, LIGHTNING TRUCKING LLC for being a gold sponsor, TSC Drill Pipe for being a gold sponsor, Gravity for providing breakfast, and Nabors Industries for providing lunch! This was our first time doing this and wouldn’t have been possible without a LOT of behind the scenes work from Barrett Zuskind , Jeff Guess , and Brandon C. ! We are officially one week away from the first IADC Permian Basin Chapter sporting clay tournament!! Trophies have arrived, and the give away guns are on order! ???? I believe there are 2 or 3 teams left… Few reminders: 1) registration is from 730-9 Friday morning. Breakfast will be provided by Gravity . 2) ammo is not provided. Bring your own or you can purchase from Midland Shooters store. 3) bring your buggie, side by side, golf cart, etc if you have one. Carts are not included, but we will have a couple dozen available to rent. First come first serve! 4) lunch will be served afterwards by Nabors Industries while we do awards and gun winners!
