#Academic Update! A few weeks ago we announced a partnership with i5 Space and USAFA Department of Astronautics. This is relationship is in full swing. Cadets joined the Apollo #Accelerator Cohort 4 Demo Day and gave a great intro to an audience from industry, academia, government, partners, and allies (#IAGPA). Rock on Kylyn Smith ! USAFA SPARK

i5 Cadets from the United States Air Force Academy and Yale AFROTC Det 009 traveled to Milan, Italy this past week for the 75th Annual International Astronautical Congress led by the International Astronautical Federation! Engaging in insightful discussions with space professionals from dozens of foreign nations, these cadets learned the true value of our allies' space industries, as well as discovered first-hand how academic and commercial partners contribute to the global space mission! The cadets even had the opportunity to watch live as the European Space Agency - ESA - unveiled the first installment of their Euclid telescope mission set - creating the largest-ever 3D-mapping of the cosmos. The trip also marks an exciting moment for USAFA / AFROTC joint operations, as cadets from both commissioning sources worked hard to ideate, set up, and be able to partake in the TDY together. Adventure is out there! Cadets pictured: Valerie Slackman (USAFA), Aiden Toole (USAFA), Hunter Collins (USAFA), and Kylyn Smith (Yale AFROTC), as well as a shoutout to Casey Landrum (USAFA) for spearheading trip planning!

#Grateful to announce that SDA TAP Lab is now collaborating with i5 Space and USAFA Department of Astronautics to get students directly engaged in research, development, and testing of #SDA and battle management prototypes! Received a great reaction from students, sponsors, and administrators! If you are a student with interest in #space, rocketry, data science and analytics please propose a project which aligns with both the i5 Space program goals and an SDA TAP Lab "problem statement". Send proposals to the exceptional Kylyn Smith. Students must be ambitious, resourceful, and creative. For more details visit: www.sdataplab.org www.i5space.com
