Eco-Friendly Lawn Service for Elderly, Veterans & Disabled - 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization
关于我们
Mission Statement To preserve dignity, enable independence and build community by providing eco-friendly essential lawn service for the elderly, veterans and others in need. Summary Founded in 2020, at the onset of the coronavirus pandemic, I Want To Mow Your Lawn provides 100% free lawn-mowing to elderly, military veterans, disabled, and under-resourced individuals / families — with green initiatives in mind. For I Want To Mow Your Lawn founder, Brian Schwartz, laid off from a digital-advertising job, it was something to do, some way to help, at a time when everything in the world seemed upside down. In time, demand grew — and other volunteers joined Brian. Currently, over 300 volunteers enlisted across 40 states have helped clean-up over 1,000+ yards. For the people that I Want To Mow Your Lawn is helping, the grass may not always be greener but it is cut, kempt, edged, and raked. Shoveled too! Media coverage of the organization across the globe to date has resulted in six times more volunteer enlistments for the 2023 season. As the organization continues its #MOWmentum , we intend to encourage use of battery-powered electric equipment — in an effort to contribute towards a cleaner earth.

Grateful for the amazing Rogers Gray Insurance Agency team, led by Kimberly A. for their dedication to community service! They returned for a second visit to Harwich, MA, to assist Ms. Tori, completing her backyard transformation after tackling the overgrown front yard in July. This powerhouse crew—Kim, Cheryl, Janet, Chris, Pam, Jess, Anthony, and Jeff—went above and beyond, mowing, raking, and beautifying the space while sharing great camaraderie. Even better, they’ve committed to ongoing visits in 2025 to keep Tori’s yard looking its best. Thank you, RogersGray, part of The Baldwin Group for your generosity and impact! ???? #CommunityImpact #Volunteers #Gratitude #YardWork #Massachusetts #RogersGray

Very excited to be working on this uplifting true story of the Lawn Ranger, Brian Schwartz with old friends Samuel Kochman and Benjamin Tappan! Thank you Walden Media Prod. for making this happen.

What started as a small act of kindness has grown into a national movement, inspiring over 1,000 volunteers to enlist —and now, even the possibility of a film to share this story further. Grateful to everyone who has helped make this journey possible. Grateful that I Want To Mow Your Lawn was featured today on World Kindness Day in Times Square, New York City—with this upstart kindness-spreading social platform—right below the McDonald’s ads, just above the Old Navy store, and, as someone else pointed out, right above the ‘gift’ store. Truly a gift from the powers that be. Didn’t expect that! Had the chance to meet with their representatives—genuinely kind people. None of this would be possible without the help of our generous volunteers—I’m just here to represent them. Humbled and thankful for the opportunity to spread awareness! #KindnessIsCool ?? Today, we’re proud to recognize and honor our veterans, especially the U.S. Marines, as they celebrate 249 years of service defined by honor, courage, and commitment! ???? On the eve of Veterans Day, let’s remember all who have served and sacrificed. Here’s United States Marine Corps Veteran Gene, he was stationed at Guantanamo Bay during the Cuban Missile Crisis, who we’ve had the honor of supporting with yard work since spring. ?? It’s our small way of saying “thank you” for his service. Huge gratitude to the incredible AARP organization and film crew for capturing Gene’s story for the “Real People, Real Stories” series. Check out the full video on AARP’s Facebook and website – a beautiful tribute to Gene and all our veterans! #VeteransDay #Marines #HonoringOurHeroes #BehindTheScenes #ThankYouForYourService #USMarines #OORAH #salute #SemperFi ?? ??
