Today is International Women’s Day. Today we celebrate those who have played their part in fighting for women’s rights, and have dedicated themselves to helping women rise. It’s no secret that women must overcome incredible obstacles simply because of their gender. After raising $1 Million for 72 local nonprofits last year, the Williamson County community is out to see the love grow even more in 2025! Last night, 16 Williamson County-serving nonprofits took over the Georgetown Square to kick off Amplify Wilco Day. Amplify Wilco Day is a hyper-local campaign occurring alongside Amplify Austin Day to celebrate and raise awareness for the important missions of Williamson County-serving nonprofits discover these nonprofits and give back at AmplifyWilco.org.
