Starting April 1, Microsoft Power BI users will see price hikes ranging from 25% to 40%, a move widely seen as an effort to push customers toward its other platforms. While Microsoft cites ongoing investments in innovation as justification for the increases, analysts believe the decision is more strategic. Crown Castle has announced an agreement has been reached to sell its fiber assets for a combined $8.5 billion. The company has agreed to sell its fiber assets to Zayo Group, while EQT Active Core Infrastructure will buy its small cell assets. US tower operator Crown Castle has been looking to sell its fiber assets for some time, notably revealing in?April?last year that it had held talks with multiple parties over a sale. Steven Moskowitz, chief executive officer of Crown Castle, said the sales come following the conclusion of a "strategic review" of the firm's business. It expects the deal to be completed in the first half of next year. Mitel?is reportedly preparing to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. As reported by?Bloomberg, the Canadian enterprise communications titan is currently negotiating debt restructuring with its creditors. The company is allegedly pursuing this avenue because of declining revenues and upcoming debt maturation. According to a test conducted by the company, the new Grok-3 outperforms all the players,?including DeepSeek’s V3, OpenAI’s GPT-4o, and Google’s Gemini. In addition, xAI added to Grok-3 the magical word of the moment: Reasoning. Unlike the previous versions, the “reasoning models” are trained to answer complex questions or transform instructions into smaller tasks.
